Practical Common Lisp
http://www.gigamonkeys.com/book/
Ok, So for what I remember, the programming language I have the most fun with was by far Lisp. At university I learned Pascal, C, JAVA, Smaltalk, APL, FP and Lisp. I just can say that LISP was really fun to work with. It was all about thinking A LOT and only after a lot of thinking writing three lines of code (function name, single instance condition and recursion).
I'll give it another try.

Today I'm inspired... From what I read, the SMS was created by a Finland guy in 1992 http://www.clarin.com/diario/2007/07/28/um/m-01467034.htm and he was not even a full employee from the company he worked for... No one knows what happened to him... Probably he was fired in a reduction in force... Capitalism is al about corruption, not making people happy...
Big fish always eats the smaller fish... Now goverment recomends parents to buy Office 2007 http://it.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/07/28/1950217&from=rss
There's simply to much corruption going on in this world.
The problem with Linux is Linus himself...
As we all know, relationships is the most important hability one can develop. This is even more important if you want your code to be merged in Linus tree.. http://linux.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/07/28/1836247&from=rss There's no technical merith whatsoever.
And Linux have just get a FSS in this 2.6.23 kernel. It is still way behind comercial UNIXESes...

opensparc.net is a great idea/site. To be a full hit it needs to add all the info to create a 100% clone of te T1000 recently announced. If Sun managed to do this, they will have both, a 100% open source OS and a 100% open source hardware... it will be dificult for Linux to beat this combination.
If the real spirit behind Linux/GPL is to be able to be Freedom (Free is the exact word, but there's the obvious "free as in beer" problem), then Sun is the only choice, due to Linux beeing tied to a propietary architecure as x86 (Google for "Intel sues AMD" and you will understand why x86 is propietary).
